Passenger Count Data - Stop Basis
I am currently doing my thesis at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. In the thesis there is a stage that is mainly regarding a policy analysis in Luleå. As part of it, I need to analyse passenger count data for specific bus routes on a stop-by-stop basis. More specifically, I would like to know, for a particular bus line, how many passengers board the bus at each stop — essentially the actual passenger demand from each stop.
I would like to ask whether this type of data is available through the Trafiklab GTFS regional data.
If yes, would it also be possible to access data on how many passengers alight at each bus stop as well?

This data is unfortunately not available. Occupancy data is available for Skånetrafiken and Östgötatrafiken, as part of the GTFS VehiclePositions feed. This occupancy data is however only an indication in 6 different levels: Empty, Many seats available, Few seats available, Standing room only, Crushed standing room only and Full.
