How do I interpret "priority" in Deviations?

I saw a comment in the forum regarding priority but it kind of deteriorated into a discussion regarding sort order.

How do I interpret the priority value? Can I separate information regarding a station (broken elevator) and actual traffic information ?

  • The priority value is calculated by multiplying two numbers: estimations regarding how many are affected, and for how long. The only thing this tells you is how "big" the deviation is, not what kind.
