GTFS Regional Static data for SJ: schedule not updated

Hello,

I see that there are very few departures in GTFS Regional Static data for SJ. Sweden GTFS looks more updated. Could you please verify?

Thank you!

  • Hi Anastasia,

The Regional Static data for SJ is only updated when we receive new data from them, whereas our GTFS Sverige 2 feed is updated every time a public transport company in Sweden changes its timetables. This is why GTFS Sverige 2 is updated more often than the Regional Static data for SJ. The data for SJ should not have changed in the GTFS Sverige update, and the timetable between both should be identical.

  • Hey Bert,

    Thanks for the detailed explanation.
I don't think that the schedule matched - Regional Static data has almost 0 departures for most of the trips. GTFS Sverige 2 has more. Can you please validate and check?
    Thanks!
  • Hi Anastasia,

    We'll investigate what's going wrong.

  • Hello Anastasia,
We had some problems producing the GTFS-feed for SJ on the 29th of march, so it was not updated normally that day.
The GTFS-feed should be ok now though.
Do you still experience any problems?

  • Hey Dick!

I check the fresh GTFS file - and I still see that the vast majority of lines have 0 departures for over a week. I don't think it's accurate
  • Hi Anastasia,
I have looked at this but I cannot find anything that seems completely out of order. Can you perhaps provide me with more details and an actual example of some trips that you believe are wrong?

    Regards,

  • Hey Dick,

I took a close look at it and I think the schedule is good now.
    Thank you for the support!
